I had plans for a series of Christmas posts. And here it is--March! Life intervened in some major ways. My husband, Ken, has been very ill. I want to write some of it down, and so I will be back to do so. Hopefully before another four months goes by!

Dorcas, I'm so sorry to hear about Ken! You are both being prayed for and thought of right now. I miss your writing, and hope you will be able to soon get back in the swim of things!

OMG! I cannot believe I am just now finding your blog! I feel as if I have found not just your words but, through your words, a long-lost sister! I was looking for some eloquent insight into the whole "head of the wife" thing to share with a friend of mine, and you and I both know there's not a lot out there that's "correct" (to our way of thinking) and fit to share. I Knew I could write something myself but kept hoping that I wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel, so to speak, due to time constraints, so I kept searching until YOU popped up! Praise God for a sister in Christ who is not afraid to share truth (and share it so magnificently!) You and I seem to have much in common, but that's for another time, perhaps. Meanwhile, just know that you are appreciated and clutched the the bosom of a sister of like mind and Spirit! Thank you so much for being you!
