Badda Bing Badda Boom Friday Five

Short and sweet, I guess. It's been a while since I played a Rev Gal Friday Five, and this one is simple, so here goes.

Who: Leta, my Texan mother

What: A birthday pot luck and party

When: Sunday after church

Where: Decorated fellowship area of the church

Why: She is turning 90!

Bonus-- How: With a Texas theme! There are cacti on the walls, little cowboy hats on the tables, serape place mats and various other "Texas" gee gaws. The church folk/guests are encouraged to wear boots and cowboy hats if they have them, or at least a western shirt. We have a southern gospel quartet visiting for Sunday service. Hopefully it willall be fun. One does not turn 90 just all the time, ya know. Yee-HAW!

You're sooo right! One doesn't turn 90 every day so it's a darned good thing to be able to celebrate such an event!

Hope all turned out very nice for the party. Sounded like it would be a lot of fun and pot luck dinners at church - one of my own favorites things to attend!

Now, have many more birthdays, and that's an order!
