Praying for the Upcoming Election Process

The Assemblies of God is providing a 31-day election prayer calendar that you can use to pray for a variety of issues and people in the days leading up to November 4th. You can download a color or a black and white version here. It begins this Sunday, October 5th.

Interesting! I wasn't sure what I'd see when I looked at this. There were only two or three things where I thought "Well, I'll pray for this, but I may not interpret it the same way the writers of the calendar did." Otherwise, just great. I especially liked the one about poll volunteers, as my son has been an election judge for several years. He's just moved to a neighborhood with a fair number of new Americans, and a low income level (= transience), and MN has election-day registration, so his day will be very busy and I'm sure he'll need some help!

This is a good idea. Haven't looked at it yet. But I will! Thanks.

So Auntie K, did you think it was going to be one of those voter thingies that basically told you to vote for the Republicans?

;-)

I wouldn't have bothered sharing it if that were the case. I knew some might take some issue with a bit of wording, but I also figured that most of us would find it of value.

I'm glad you liked it.

I sure will be glad when election day dawns.

SIgh. Meanwhile, praying is a good thing.
