That nice lady, EmJayDee over at Set the Bird Free tagged me for the Seven Things About Me meme whille I was gone to MO, but I'm just now getting around to doing it. Seven things about me....hmmmm....
1. I would love to sing the blues (just once) with a great blues band.
2. I am much younger on the inside than I am on the outside. :-) I am talking about attitude, not organs.
3. I think Starbucks coffee ice cream is fabulous! You haven't tried it? If your store doesn't carry it, ask! (Starbucks is not my favorite coffee in liquid form. But the ice cream....ooooh my...especially with Hershey's syrup and a little whipped cream.)
4. I started getting grey hair at 15.
5. I started dying my hair at 25.
6. I sometimes wish I still did.
7. When I'm done singing with the blues band I'll take a turn singing harmony with a bluegrass group.
I am supposed to tag seven more people, but a lot of the bloggers I know have done this one. Since I always like learning things about my friends, if you consider yourself my friend, and you have not played, you are tagged. (Okay, if you don't play I will not cry.) But let us know about it in the comments.

how eclectic you are! blues and bluegrass! great play. Good to learn more about you!
I'll sing with you! That would be fun.
And your hair is so pretty. Never ever dye it!
And I thought I was the only one starting to gray early!
When I was getting my hair cut earlier in the year, the stylist pointed out several gray hairs and she was worried--I was super excited!
Cheers!
Diane, I really do like lots of different kinds of music, but I wouldn't want to try to sing it all. Why those two? Dunno, but it's so.
You were...excited about those grey hairs, Br. C.? ? Hmm. Okay then!
PG, I'll have to come to Glendale. :-)
1. I was asked by Methodist youth group not to sing with them, as I tended to drag everybody else off key.
2. My internal age "froze" at about 24, when I was in grad school.
3. I could eat lobster 3 meals a day for a long, long time.
4. I didn't get my first gray hair 'til I was 45, but almost drove off road when I saw it in the rear-view mirror.
5. I used to bicycle a lot, even commuted to work for a while.
6. My favorite US city is Washington DC. Subway is easy to use, and many areas are very friendly to walking.
7. I would love to have a summer home on the coast of Maine.
I love your # 2, and I agree the inside is always younger somehow, photos often shock me back to reality!
I've never had Starbucks coffee ice cream, but I LOVE Hagen Daz coffee ice cream--even though I never drink coffee at all.
I feel young inside, too. I'm glad you voiced that because I didn't realize it so much until I read this post.
Thanks for this play. Let me know when your gigs are on. I'd love to come and listen!!!
Jan, once when the store was out of Starbucks I bought Hagen Daz, thinking that it would probably be the same since H.D. is the good brand that I don't always buy due to price. And I was surprised, but IMO there was no comparison. Starbucks was way better.
MJD, It will have to be in Heaven, 'cause I think I'll go to my grave with those two things undone. LOL!
