Dear Sister S.O., you've done it again! Your china pattern (I know it as "Blue Onion," but I know it has several other names that I forget right now) is one of my absolute favorites! I have a big collection of blue and white transferware pottery.

It is really freaky to me how many points of commonality we have.

Anyway, I wanted you to know I absolutely LOVE the look of your Thanksgiving table! Good enough to eat, even without any of the food!

Glad it was a good day. You and your family remain in my prayers.

It is a bit freaky, isn't it? How many things are there now? We should compile a list...

We call it Blue Onion as well, but the actual name on this set is Blue Danube. It is from Japan and I purchased it many years ago when Ken was still in the USMC. His mother had a Blue Onion pattern and I always loved it. It didn't go with the fall colors of the table, but Kris insisted we use it instead of the beige and green set that was my grandmother's. She said, "I remember it from my childhood, and I want the blue onion!" Okay then.
:-D

Beautiful table setting. Makes me wish I had taken a picture of our table prior to the meal
